Duckett on Deben - Dancing or Doughnuts

12 December 2011 by Chloe

Let’s be honest, if someone offered you the choice of eating a doughnut or going to an exercise class, you’re going to take the doughnut!

Exercising seems such a chore, it’s the last thing you want to be doing on a cold, dark winter night, but I think it is extremely important to exercise even if it’s only for 20 minutes a day!

I personally love to exercise, ok maybe the word love is a little bit strong, but I do enjoy exercising. It makes me feel a lot more energised, happy and confident about myself.

However money is a massive problem for me, I can’t afford a monthly gym membership and I can’t afford to go to weekly classes. I try to run as regularly as possible but I don’t always have the time.

I spoke to Charlie Holmes, an aerobics instructor at Leiston Leisure Centre. She told me about the importance of exercising and what exercise you can do for free!
