This week’s show has music from Freeez, Bruno Mars, Leona Lewis, 70 Disco and the winning Eurovision track!
Our Featured Artist this week is going to tempt the sun from behind the clouds with a big number one hit from 1959 and Perez Prado has our Instrumental Interlude. Spot the Intro is nice and easy and Hits and Headlines will test the grey matter!
Sophie Green is joined by library staff and customers to review books and films available on loan from Woodbridge Library.
In the May 2013 edition we ask local writers to talk about the books and authors that inspired them. Sophie is joined by novelist Ruth Dugdall, Herman Ross, Tricia Andrews and Sheila Haskins to discuss ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ by Margaret Atwood, ‘Invisible Man’ by Ralph Ellison, ‘The Highwayman’ by Alfred Noyes and ‘Death in Summer’ by William Trevor. If you would like to be part of the discussion add a comment below or on the library blog at www.suffolklibraries.co.uk/woodbridge-library
Next month we will be exploring the best of recorded, filmed and written comedy. If you would like to be on the show to discuss a title that tickles your funny bone, please contact Sophie at the library for more details.
Once again we tease you with a Spot the Intro track and it’s Brian Hyland that is our Featured Artist for this show. Air guitars at the ready too, as Duane Eddy provides us with the Instrumental Interlude and of course a good mix of 50’s and 60’s music. You can also pit your wits to see if you can guess the Mystery Year.
This week’s show includes CB Radio tracks and some Eurovision tracks too!
