Plot:
While discussing a medical memoir at book club, Fiona mentions how her husband’s screening caught something early. Beryl says she never skips the kit—“cheaper than a check-up and quicker than a chapter.” Angela admits she’s scared of the result. Together, they talk it through, normalising the test and supporting each other.
